Me Made May

So, Zo started the Me Made May challenge back in 2010 for her own benefit as a motivator for being intentional with items that she made.

Since I have been working on my wardrobe more (see sewing posts here), it seemed like a great time to join in a challenge.  Below you will find my unique pledge for being more intentional during the month of May.

I, Moriah of www.thelordismyteacher.com / @alltheowls, sign up as a participant of Me-Made-May ’18. I endeavour to wear handmade clothes or work on my handmade wardrobe every day of May 2018.

This month I want to be more intentional with the items that I am sewing.  The pieces that I make will serve a practical purpose in my everyday life and create a cohesive wardrobe.

If there are items in my wardrobe (handmade or ready to wear) that I don’t like, don’t wear, or cannot fit into, I pledge to donate or sell them.

I will focus on making my stash by using fabrics that I already own.

I’m not great at taking photos of my makes and daily outfits, but if I share pictures, you can find them here or on my Instagram!

FYI the pictures would/will probably all look like this soooo

Thanks for joining me, supporting me, loving me.
